Position: Refrigeration Technician - MD

Exemption: Full Time
Job Location: Mid-Atlantic Service Center

Description

DLR is always looking for field service refrigeration technicians.  Hands on knowledge of refrigeration required, cascade refrigeration knowledge a plus.  This position involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of laboratory equipment.  A company vehicle is provided with this position.   We offer a competitive salary and benefits that start immediately.

Qualifications Include:
• Three (3) year of experience or formal training and practical field experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Universal EPA Certification 
• Strong analytical ability
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Must have demonstrated electrical and control troubleshooting experience.
• Willingness to participate in the emergency on-call rotation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must undergo a government background check
• Ability to interpret electrical and refrigeration schematics
• Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written (good spelling and grammar), and ability to interface professionally with customers
• Willingness to expand skills by attending training seminars and/or in-house training
• Ultra low refrigeration experience a plus
