DLR is a laboratory equipment service company with immediate openings for experienced service technicians.  Hands on knowledge of refrigeration and electronics required.  This position involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of laboratory equipment.  Our field service area is Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC.  A company vehicle is provided with this position.   We offer a competitive salary and benefits that start immediately.

Qualifications Include:

• Formal refrigeration training + 5 years of experience or 10 years of experience
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Universal EPA Certification
• Strong analytic ability
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Must have demonstrated electrical and control troubleshooting experience.
• Willingness to participate in the emergency on-call rotation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must undergo a government background check
• Ability to interpret electrical and refrigeration schematics
• Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written (good spelling and grammar), and ability to interface professionally with customers
• Ultra low refrigeration experience a plus
